laqālū innamā sukkirat abṣārunā bal naḥnu qawmun masḥūrūn
They would surely say "Only have been dazzled our eyes. Nay, we (are) a people bewitched."
they would surely have said, "It is only our eyes that are spellbound! Nay, we have been bewitched!
They would say: Our sight is wrong - nay, but we are folk bewitched
They would only say: "Our eyes have been intoxicated: Nay, we have been bewitched by sorcery."
still they would say, “Our eyes have truly been dazzled! In fact, we must have been bewitched.”
they would have said, "Our eyesight has only been befuddled,” or, “We are under a spell."
they would still say, Our eyes have been dazzled. We are bewitched
They would certainly say: Only our eyes have been covered over, rather we are an enchanted people
they would say: Truly, our sight was dazzled. Nay! We were a bewitched folk.
they still would say: "Our eyesight has been dazzled-in fact, we are enchanted folk!"
surely they would have said: “Our eyes have been blocked (blurred). But nay, we have been bewitched.”
they would say, “Our eyes are merely spellbound. Nay, we are a people bewitched!
They would still say, “Our eyes are tricked; we are under a spell.”
They would still say, 'Our eyes are hallucinating; in fact, we are people bewitched.'
they would have surely said: “Our eyes have been dazzled. Nay, we are a people under effect of magic.”
still they would have said, 'Our eyes have been dazzled; rather we have been bewitched.'"
They would indeed say, "Surely it is only that our be holdings (i.e., eyesights) are stupefied; no indeed, we are a people bewitched!"
they would have said, "Our eyes are bewildered and we have been affected by magic."
still they will say, .In fact our eyes have been deluded; rather we are enchanted people
They would say, "Our eyes are intoxicated. Nay, we are a folk bewitched."
They would say, "Our sights fail us, we are drugged. Rather, we are a nation bewitched!"
They would only say: "Our eyes have been intoxicated: Nay, we have been overpowered by magic."
They would say, "Our eyes have only been dazzled. Rather, we are a people affected by magic."
They would have said: "Our sight has been fogged. No, we are a people who are being bewitched!"
they would still say, ‘Our eyes are hallucinating. We are bewitched.’
They would surely say: intoxicated have been our sights; aye! we are a people enchanted
They will say all the same: "Our eyes were dazed (and clouded over). We were a people ensorcelled."
they would only say, ´Our eyesight is befuddled! Or rather we have been put under a spell!´
They would say, "Our eyes are but spellbound; rather, we have been bewitched!"
they would surely say, ‘Indeed a spell has been cast on our eyes; rather we are a bewitched lot.’
They would only say, "Our eye-sight is only intoxicated; nay, we have been bewitched by sorcery (or hypnotized)!"
they would certainly say: “Indeed our eyes are intoxicated (and we are dazzled), rather we are bewitched people.”
They would only say, “Our eyes have been intoxicated. No, we have been possessed by deception.
they would say, “Our eyes are deceived, we’ve been bewitched.
they would still have said: "Surely our eyes have been dazzled; rather, we have been enchanted."
They would have said: "Our sight has been fogged. No, we are a people being bewitched!"
They would still only say, "Our sights.are dazed. Nay, we are a people bewitched!"
Even then they would say, 'Our sights have been tied, rather we have been mesmerized.'
they will say, "Our eyes have been deceived. We have been bewitched."
still they would say: 'Our eyes were dazzled; truly, we must have been a bewitched people.
They would say: Only our eyes have been covered over, rather we are an enchanted people
They would have said: "But our eye/sights/understanding got closed and confused, but we are a bewitched/enchanted nation."
They will say: “We are being hypnotized or something and whatever we see is just an illusion.”
Even then they would say, "Our sights have been hypnotised - in fact, a magic spell has been cast upon us."
They would surely say, `Only our eyes are dazed; rather we are a bewitched people
(Even then) they will certainly say (this): ‘Our eyes have been hypnotized (through some magic trick and deceit), rather we are spellbound.
Even then these people would surely say, `Our eyes have only been dazed; rather We are a bewitched people.
They would surely say: "Our eyes have been (as if) dazzled. Nay, we are a people bewitched."
yet would they say, 'Our eyes have been dazzled; nay, we are a people bewitched!
they would surely say, our eyes are only dazzled; or rather we are a people deluded by enchantments
then also had they said, 'Our eye-sight is only intoxicated; nay, we are an enchanted people!
They would surely say: It is only that our eyes are drunken: nay, we are a people enchanted
still would they say: ‘Our eyes were dazzled: truly, we must have been bewitched.‘
even then they will certainly say, “It is just that our sights were spellbound. Nay! But we are people who have been bewitched by sorcery”.
They would surely say:“’Our eyes have been deprived of sight. Nay, but we have been bewitched’.
They would say: our eyesight has been fooled, no we have been bewitched as people.
They would only say, “Our eyes have been dazzled. We have been deceived by illusionists.”
they would surely say, “Indeed, our sight(s) have been stupefied; rather, we are a people bewitched.”
they still would say: "Our eyesight has been dazzled-in fact, we are bewitched folk!"
They would say, “Our sights are only blocked; nay, but we are bewitched kinfolk.”
still they would surely say: 'It is only our eyes that are spellbound! Indeed, we must have been bewitched.'
They would surely have said, “Our eyes have been dazzled, in fact, we are a people bewitched!”
They would definitely say: Indeed our eyes have been blindfolded, rather we are a people bewitched.
They would, thus still, say: "This is an eye trap. Our eyes have been confused with drink. In fact we have been bewitched"
they would only say, “Our eyes are intoxicated. No ! we are people influenced by magic.”
They would surely say, 'Our eye-sight is only intoxicated; nay, we are people bewitched.'
They would only say: "Our eyes have been intoxicated: Nay, we have been bewitched by sorcery."
They would surely say "Only have been dazzled our eyes. Nay, we (are) a people bewitched.
